The double chamber thoracic drainage from Redax is a two chamber drain that has an integrated underwater seal valve the makes it easy to monitor a patient's air leaks. They are a safe alternative to chest bottles and reduce risk of infection. They are also easier for medical staff to use. The complete system with a suction pump promotes the mobilization of patients.

Everything is engineered into this one compact system rather than using the standard disposable drains that are typically used in cardio-thoracic surgery. This instrument is lightweight, yet stable. It does not tilt or let liquid escape. It is designed to provide multiple benefits, including a collection chamber with an easy to read scale, a large three liter capacity, a separate seal valve that allows for air leak and patient pleural cavity pressure monitoring after a post-operative chest drainage procedure.
