Commercial Condition:

309S is a low carbon content stainless steel, is derivated from 309 stainless steel,its used for welding occasion. Low carbon content makes a minimized carbide precipitation near the weld zone. The carbide precipitation may result in stainless steel intergranular corrosion in some environments (welding erosion).

Characteristics and Application

309s may sustain repeated heating under 980℃, has higher temperature strength and good performance on resistance to oxidation and anti carbonation .
