Pump body is also called pump casing, pump shell. Water pump body is usually made of gray iron (grey iron) HT200 (ASTM NO.30, GG20, ISO200, FC200, GC200).

Our factory has made different types of pump bodies for oversea pump manufacturers. Some of our customers come from USA, Australia, UK etc.

Pressure testing is used frequently to test pump body to see if there is any porosity inside. The only way to avoid issue parts is to improve the casting quality.
