What is the different of FTP and SFTP ?

1. Internal structure

FTP cable refers to a single layer aluminum foil single layer shielded twisted pair

SFTP cable refers to double shielded twisted pair wire with inner aluminum foil and outer braided mesh.

The effective distance of a FTP cable is longer than that of a SFTP cable.

The shielding layer will consume the electromagnetic wave of the outside world to avoid the interference of the electromagnetic wave on the network.
